Do you ever feel like your body just can’t do all of the things you want or need it to do?
Maybe it’s a dull ache in your low back that limits your hikes or keeps you from really jumping in and playing with the kids. Maybe it’s chronic IT band tightness that slows your runs. Maybe it’s constantly irritated trigger points that make sitting uncomfortable or extreme tightness that limits your range when lifting weights. Maybe you’re just starting out on your fitness journey and the exhaustion and fatigue are killing you. Maybe you’re a fitness vet and in dire need of rest, recovery and restoration.
With Pilates, I can help you improve the way your body moves and functions. Our goal will be to strengthen, lengthen and restore where needed.
Pilates is for you if you:
- Find your otherwise strong and healthy body limits which physical activities you can enjoy
- Sit, stand or stay in the same position for hours (ie desk job, standing job)
- Wobble, tip over or struggle to balance on a single leg
- Cut your current workouts short because of aches, pain or irritation during movement
- Describe yourself as clumsy or trip, fall, stumble or walk into doors/walls/furniture regularly
- Are on a first name basis with your Chiropractor or Sports Doctor
- Are just starting on your fitness journey and need to build your core strength before tackling other physical pursuits
- Are a fitness veteran and really need to rest, recover or restore your body
Your otherwise strong and healthy body is hitting limits and preventing you from enjoying your favorite physical activities. Unchecked, those limits can kill your motivation and strangle your joy in movement.
During each private Pilates session, we’ll use Mat, Equipment and Standing Pilates to rebuild the body’s core foundation and retrain postural habits. Each low impact, full body session is designed to:
- Improve and retrain posture
- Develop and improve core strength
- Improve muscle imbalances from front to back and right to left
- Lengthen and strengthen the muscles
- Improve range of motion
- Increase flexibility
- Improve balance and proprioception (the body’s awareness of itself in space)
Rubecca is such an incredible teacher! As a newbie to Pilates, I was a little nervous going in, but no need! Rubecca not only fully explained the how and why behind everything we were doing, she also had the most gentle, encouraging approach. I never once felt lost or dumb or incapable. She helped me modify where I needed, and cheered me on and made me feel fantastic about myself! After class, I felt completely relaxed and rejuvenated. I definitely recommend taking her class!!

Here’s what you’ll get out of each Pilates Session:
- Private 50-min Sessions with a certified Pilates Instructor: Unlike a standard gym or group studio Pilates class, which caters to multiple students, each of our sessions are entirely private and focused on you and what YOUR body needs!
- Multiple Pilates Methods: Each session will combine Mat, Standing, Reformer, Chair and Cadillac Pilates to get you the best results where you need it most.
- Personalized Plan of Action: Each session is comprised of a customized 50 minute workout designed to strengthen, lengthen and restore muscles where needed as well as target balance, Range Of Motion and flexibility.
Rubecca is amazing! I started the program with no balance, no strength, and recovering from a knee injury. I was hesitant because I felt I had limited mobility and had never done Pilates before. Rubecca is so welcoming. She reassured me that we would work at my own pace and that the program would be individualized for my needs. In just six sessions I have seen drastic improvements. I feel so much better, stronger and I am so happy with the results I’ve had. It has been such a positive experience! I will definitely continue with more sessions.
