The Fine Print: Payment, Rescheduling and Cancellation Policies
Payment
All sessions require pre-payment to hold your appointment. This allows us to operate more efficiently and spend our time working with you, rather than processing payments.
Cancellations
We have a 24 hour cancellation policy. Cancellations made less than 24 hours in advance will result in a 100% cancellation fee. Same day cancellations will be charged at 100% of the appointment fee. Group classes with recordings provided as part of the class offering will not offer refunds or cancellations.
Late Policy
We all run late once in a while, whether we hit unexpected traffic or can’t find our other shoe as we head out the door. We totally get it. If you’re running a few minutes late, drop us a line. You’ll receive your session in the time booked for your session. While we’ll do our best to make sure you get the most out of your session, we won’t run over into our other client’s sessions, nor will we offer a prorated session for lateness.
If you are more than 10 minutes late for a 30 minute session or 20 minutes late to a 60 minute session, your session will be considered “same-day cancellation” and charged at 100% of the appointment fee.
Refunds
Sometimes we have to try something a few times before we realizing it’s just not for us. Or our job transfers us to a new city, or we take up backpacking in the Himalayas or we run off and join the circus. While we don’t offer refunds, we do offer transferable sessions on all of our packages. If you’ve purchased a package and aren’t able to make the remaining appointments, you can transfer the remaining sessions to family or friends. Just let us know.

Transfers
All of our package sessions are fully transferable. If you’ve purchased a package and aren’t able to make the remaining appointments, really need a creative gift for someone you love, or are out of town one week but don’t want to face the wrath of those pesky cancellation fees, you can totally transfer your session(s) to someone else. Just let us know. And let them know too!
*Transfers are still subject to our cancellation policy, so please make sure your person knows what’s up.

My trainer/coach/massage therapist has previously stretched me out after a workout. Why should I book an appointment with you, a Stretch Therapist?
This is a great question! The first would be the level of training in stretch methods. As a certified Level 2 Stretch to Win Stretch Therapist, I am required to have a working knowledge of functional anatomy and attended 80 hours of hands-on training in the Stretch to Win method, completed many hours of practice and was required to pass a written exam as part of my certification.
Secondly, the Stretch to Win method is a scientifically proven method with over 50 years of practice-based evidence. Every session is rooted in science and follows a specific method and pattern to release the muscles and fascia.
Third, while your trainer, coach or masseuse may tack on a little bit of stretch at the end of the session as a bonus, my specialty is Stretch Therapy.
What are your qualifications?
I received my 200-hr Hatha Yoga Instructor training through the Yoga Institute of Houston, am certified in the PhysicalMind method of Mat, Standing and Equipment Pilates (via Pilates Concepts of Houston) and am a certified Level 2 Stretch to Win Fascial Stretch Therapist.
In addition to all of these awesome certs, I was a Sports Therapist at Spine & Sports Therapy in Houston, TX. SST specializes in treating and preventing overuse injuries. Over the course of my career at SST, I worked with three fantastic doctors and hundreds of patients ranging from everyday folks who just enjoyed the occasional walk all the way up to Ironmen who were training several hours a day for months on end.
I worked with patients throughout their chiropractic care to rebuild their bodies post injury. Using Yoga, Pilates and Stretch Therapy, we focused on developing core strength, retraining the muscles to recruit functionally and “erasing” old muscle patterns to prevent bad habits from creeping back in and re-aggravating old injuries. Injury prevention, rebuilding core strength and functional muscle patterns are my passion in Anatomy!
Do I need to shower before my session or can I come straight from my workout?
A relaxing session of Stretch or Pilates sounds amazing post workout, especially on those days when you go full throttle. While I fully support your goals and aspirations for total Beast Mode, please bring a clean body to your sessions. A sweaty body is hard to hold on to and your session will have to be rescheduled. Sweaty body cancellations are subject to our same-day cancellation fee policy. *We do not have a shower available at our facility.
What do I wear?
For Pilates and Stretch Therapy, the recommended attire for both men and women is yoga-type pants and a top that moves with your body while maintaining your modesty.
Does Stretch Therapy hurt?
FST is designed to be pain-free. If you feel any pain or discomfort, we will immediately back off, reassess and gently progress.
Does Pilates hurt?
While we occasionally want to skip a challenging pose and cry wolf with pain and destruction to the very core of our being, Pilates should not hurt. If you feel any pain or discomfort, we will immediately back off, reassess and gently progress.
