Do you ever feel like your body just can’t do all of the things you want or need it to do?
Maybe it’s a dull ache in your low back that limits your hikes or keeps you from really jumping in and playing with the kids. Maybe it’s chronic IT band tightness that slows your runs. Maybe it’s constantly irritated trigger points that make sitting uncomfortable or extreme tightness that limits your range when lifting weights. Maybe you’re just starting out on your fitness journey and the exhaustion and fatigue are killing you. Maybe you’re a fitness vet and in dire need of rest and true recovery.
With Pilates, I can help you improve the way your body moves and functions. To learn more, visit our Pilates page.
“I can’t touch my toes.”
“I can’t get my leg to do this….” *awkward attempt to move leg into a figure-four stretch position.
“I’m just soooo tight!”
“My hamstrings bug me all of the time!”
“The more I stretch, the worse it gets!”
Sound familiar?
With Frederick Stretch Therapy (FST), I can help you improve your flexibility and increase your Range of Motion, allowing you to move better, faster and easier. If you are strong, healthy and super active, but also identify as tight, stiff and inflexible, FST Stretch Therapy with Pilates Native is for you. For pricing and packages, visit our Stretch Therapy page.
From injury to invincibility!
You’re super active and hit the trails, the court, the gym or the mat every chance you get, but you’re tired of stiff tight muscles, endless trigger points and rescheduling events as you recover from yet another sports injury.
You’ve balmed, taped, compressed, heated, needled, rolled, massaged, and ice bathed your way through every temporary fix. You’ve cross-trained ‘til your eyes crossed. You’re probably even on a first name basis with your Sports Doctor. But you’re still racking up those annoying little sports injuries because no amount of tape, balm, heat, ice or foam rolling (no matter how painful!) can address the root cause of your injury cycle.
With “The Injury Recovery Lab”, I can help you rebuild your body’s core foundation and retrain postural habits, allowing you to move stronger, faster and more efficiently. To learn more, visit The Injury Recovery page.
Do you enjoy massage but need a little more mobility paired with that relaxation?
Without any conscious input from you, your body has developed its own tricks, habits, compensations and muscle patterns to accomplish whatever task you’re after…whether or not you have the strength, range of motion, or form to perform the activity.
Over time, the body gets locked into those muscle patterns and begins to adapt by working with and around whatever those compensations happen to be. This could be a shorter range of motion, improper muscle activation, or over compensating for tighter or weaker muscle groups. This “working around” is what leads to inefficient motion, improper muscle usage, irritation, tightness, pain and eventually injury.
