6 weeks of dedicated stretch and energy work
Thursdays @ 10am (mtn time) Nov 7th-Dec 19th
“I can’t touch my toes.” “I can’t get my leg to do this….” *awkward attempt to move leg into a figure-four stretch position. “I’m just soooo tight!” “The more I stretch, the worse it gets!” Sound familiar?
Our emotions, stress and life noise live in our bodies. The goal of our Soul Stretch class is to provide our bodies a safe place to release somatically while also enjoying the benefit of a regular stretch routine and energy work.
If you love all things “woo-woo” and also identify as tight, stiff and inflexible, Soul Stretch with Pilates Native is for you.
With Soul Stretch, I can help you improve your flexibility and increase your Range of Motion, allowing you to move better, faster and easier while also allowing your mind/body/soul space to integrate and work together. Sound too good to be true? Here’s what others are saying:
I participated in a virtual stretch session around the beginning of the pandemic with Rubecca, and it was SO helpful. I didn’t realize how much tension I was holding in my body, and even though we weren’t in the same room together, I could feel her expertise through the guidance she provided. I highly recommend working with her!

So what makes Soul Stretch different from other stretch programs, massage or yoga classes?
Focus, intention and inspiration.
Soul Stretch is designed to help you access the emotions hiding in the body and process them somatically.
Each Soul Stretch class will pair Yoga, Pilates, Somatic release techniques and the Stretch to Win method of Life Stretch with card pulls, journal inspirations, meditation, breath work and Reiki. Each class is intentionally designed to take your hard working muscles, joints and fascia and give them the gentle stretch, rest, and movement they need as well as allow space for the nervous system to rest, recover and integrate with the rest of your systems.
Soul Stretch is for you if:
- You’re super open minded and into energy work
- You have super tight muscles or limited flexibility (ie can’t touch your toes)
- Your range of motion seems to be getting worse
- Your body just doesn’t feel as mobile as it used to
- Stretching yourself does nothing or makes things worse
- Rest and recovery are words you’ve heard of but never employ in your own life
Without any conscious input from you, your mind and body have developed their own mental/emotional/physical tricks, habits, compensations and patterns to accomplish whatever task you’re after…whether or not you have the strength, ability, range of motion, or form to perform the task needed.
The mind and body are also very good at hiding emotions and feelings in the joints, tissue and fascia, storing them up to process later.
Over time, the mind and body get locked into those patterns and begin to adapt by working with and around whatever those compensations happen to be.
This could be a shorter range of motion or a shorter temper.
Improper muscle activation or improper emotional response to triggers.
It could be over compensating for tighter or weaker muscle groups or over compensating for feelings of helplessness, loss of control or sadness.
This “working around” is what leads to inefficient motion, improper muscle usage, irritation, tightness, pain and eventually injury.
This is where Soul Stretch can help.
With Soul Stretch, we’ll use a blend of yoga, Pilates, the Stretch to Win method of Life Stretch and Somatic release techniques paired with guided meditation, journaling, card pulls and Reiki to target flexibility, Range of Motion and emotional release. Each gentle, pain-free, full body session is designed to:
- Improve Range of Motion, which in turn increases physical strength, improves physical activity and improves sports performance.
- Decrease pain, stiffness and tightness in the muscles.
- Proactively help prevent injuries.
- Improve flexibility, posture and circulation.
- Be enjoyable!
- Allow space for the central nervous system to relax and calm down, so healing and recover can take place.
Rubecca is such a gifted stretch therapist! I was a little intimidated going into our session, but her calm, gentle, yet firm style instantly put me at ease. After a stretching session with her, my tight muscles instantly felt relief and I really appreciated how she incorporated her seemingly endless knowledge of biomechanics without being overwhelming. I highly recommend sessions with her!
